Dislikes - sweet relish, cold weather, spiders, ranch dressing, thunderstorms and generally most bugs.
Born & raised in Michigan, I hold a BS in Advertising & Public Relations and MFA in Fine Art. I worked in the fashion industry for 10 years in various roles of brand development, marketing, purchasing and design. My fashion era highlight was designing for Gwen Stefani (sh*t was 🍌). I regularly traveled to China, learning the in's and out's of research, product development, costing and design.
Eventually I made a career pivot to user experience design to work on digital products because I was obsessed with tech and how it was changing our lives. I have worked for small startups to fortune 500 hundred companies. I love solution-ing, designing and collaborating with cross functional partners. I understand how great design builds user loyalty, pushes the business forward and makes space for more design exploration. I'm passionate about leading people, design excellence, product strategy and driving team culture. One of the best things about design is that is is always changing and there is always something new to learn.
