I'm happily based in LA, doing life with my spouse, son, pug dogs and smush-faced cats. If I could be anywhere right now, it would be on the beach in St. Tropez with a spritz in hand!
Likes - shrimp nachos, donuts, sunshine, traveling, concerts, loud laughs, sneakers and cocktails
Dislikes - sweet relish, cold weather, spiders, ranch dressing, thunderstorms and litter bugs
Born & raised in Michigan, I hold a BS in Advertising & Public Relations and MFA in Fine Art. I worked in the fashion industry for 10 years in various roles of brand development, marketing, purchasing and design. My career highlight at that time was designing for Gwen Stefani's handbag collection (sh*t was 🍌). I regularly traveled to China, learning the in's and out's of research, product development and design. It was one of the most memorable times of my life and also now feels like a lifetime ago.
I made the career pivot to user experience design to work on digital products because I was obsessed with tech and how it was changing our lives. I have worked for small startups to fortune 500 hundred companies. I love solution-ing, designing and collaborating with cross functional partners. I understand how great design builds user loyalty, pushes the business forward and makes space for more design exploration. I'm passionate about leading people, design excellence and driving team culture. One of the best things about design is that is is always changing and there is always something new to learn.
